    Where can I find a child theme for Ocin?

    I also want to use the masonry layout for my shop products, but this layout does not support square images. If I upload a square image, it will be shown cropped as landscape (or portrait if checked)

    Is it possible to show images at their original ratio? So even panorama pictures (extremely landscape ratio) are shown as panorama?

    I also like to ad more space between the products on the listpage. Which css do I change?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    You can download the Child Theme here:

    https://cl.ly/2e1C3d2V3f3w

    You can change the size of your WooCommerce images on your Admin Panel > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display

    Here is more indo about image sizing:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/

    And if you want to change the margin between products, you have to play with this CSS:

    .woocommerce #main .products .product, .woocommerce-page .products .product{
        width: 24%;
        margin: 0.4%;
    }

    Okay thanks, that helped me out!

    I have another question.

    Is it somehow possible to make the search field also search in product tags? My products don't have a description, but only tags. Now I get no search results found when I search for a product tag... :(

    The search function is handle by WooCommerce plugin, you should check if such a thing is possible with some configuration or customization.

    Here is the documentation for WooCommerce:

    I need the user with Administrator privilegie to access the menus.

    About the issue with the 404 errors. There is a problem on WordPress that sometimes you have to update the permalinks structure.

    Try this, go to your Admin Panel > Settings > Permalinks, select the default permalinks, see if you can access the category page. Then switch back to your current permalinks.

    That should fix the issue.

    I noticed that the folder which contains the images and icons, did not exist in the theme folder. So I copied the images folder to the child theme and now I see the icons for fullwidth/boxed nad masonry layout in the customise menu.

    But, when i click on narrow layout, it does not create a boxed layout, it is still full width.

    I need a centered boxed layout... How to fix this?

    That's strange, in case you want to force a boxed layout, you can use this CSS:

    @media (min-width: 1270px){
    #container {
        width: 1230px;
    }
    }
    @media (min-width: 768px){
    #container {
        width: 760px;
    }
    }

    Thank you! I'm almost there...

    Is there a CSS method where I can show the complete image? (on the productpage)

    I mean, when I have a portrait image, on a mobile device (landscape orientated) the theme only shows the upper half of the image. I would really like to have the complete image fit within the screen of the phone. Actually, the same like the lightbox does it, but then on the productpage itself.

    Further, I noticed that on an tablet, this theme shows the image at full width and productdetails below, like on a phone. I like to show it the same as on a desktop, with 2 columns (left the image and right the product details) Can you tell me hoe to achieve this?

    I'm quite familiar with html/css but not yet so much with responsive and bootstrap. So do'nt know where to look...

    Thanks for your support!

    Hi there,

    Theres is no default option for that. You will have to do it as a customization.

    Some of that code is in ocin/inc/theme-functions/woocommerce_support.php beginning at line 394

    Okay thanks. Can I copy this file to the child theme, and do I need to create the the same folder structure in the child folder? Or can I put the file straight into the child folder?

    By only adding this file on your Child theme will not replace the parent one.

    You should replace the actions that are inside this file.
