    Hi,

When scrolling through a slider that goes from left to right, he two sideways scroll doesn't seem to work. Wether its on a touchpad or mouse. The slider only moves if I scroll vertically.

    Hello Derek!
It is a weird behavior, I have just checked the portfolio slider in the demo theme and the scroll works either dragging left/right, moving the vertical wheel and even pressing directional keys. Could you provide me an example URL when the slider fails?

    Thank you and best regards.

    Hi, yes those work.

I'm talking about the two finger horizontal scroll on a multitouch trackpad.

The way it works on this site: http://www.lloydduckett.com/index

    Hi Derek,

Yes, it is meant to work only with the mouse scrollwheel. You can disable that behavior if you want by following these instructions:

Let me know if we can help you with anything else.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Nico,

Is there a plugin or something I can download to enable the type of scrolling I want?

    Hi Derek,

Sorry for the delay on the response, unfortunately there isn't a complete solution to include the trackpad too.

You have to click and drag on mouse or trackpad.

    Hi Nico,

There must be. I'm no code guru but its explained here:

    https://benfrain.com/horizontal-scrolling-area-css-overflow-ios/

If you have a Magic Mouse, you can use horizontal scrolling with one finger swiping left to right.
If you have a trackpad, you can use two finger swipe left and right.

    Thanks.

Yes, but that only work with a trackpad or similar, but not with a regular mouse.

Because we don't use just a wrapper on the slider. It is a more complex HTML structure.

Unfortunately we can't have the best of both worlds together.
